Everything we are, is the result of practice.

We practice not receiving love, because we fear abandonment. We mask, because it wasn’t safe to practice being ourselves. We practice denial, because we fear the ways the truth might force us to practice change. We practice pretending we know things we don’t, we’re okay when we’re not; we practice “being an adult”, a “professional”, “having it all together”—whatever that means.

Many of us, for many years, have been practicing un-feeling.

We are well-practiced at resisting, fighting against or repressing emotions—often subconsciously. When tears come, we practice holding our breath — squeezing them back. When a feeling emerges, we may have learned how to rush into self-soothing. Often, we never truly learned how to safely feel with others. The practice we do have feeling, may have been alone. Like all practices, repression is a practice that has served us somehow; it’s kept us safe.

However, the result of unfeeling in the longterm is disconnection with Self, lives that don’t resemble our true wishes, struggles with mood, sleep, relationships, and wellbeing.

I believe that every individual has a dynamic and layered emotional “underneath”.

Breathwork can help us get there—it’s a somatic tool for accessing what is otherwise unreachable by the conscious mind. Breathwork in community is the embodied practice of learning how to feel with others, to be held in our experience, to unmask, share, and deeply listen.

This group is for humans dealing with anxiety, heartbreak, grief, inner child wounds. It is for individuals working on building self-trust, developing courage, and doing the work of emotional clearing. It is for anyone seeking an accessible way to engage with their own internal landscape.

Bring your curiosity, your humility and your open-heart. Beginners are welcome.

The group will be kept intimate to foster kinship, connection and community.

Meet your facilitator, Hannah.

Hi there, you’re likely here because my work on Meeting Myself Again found you.

My name is Hannah and know that I feel so blessed to have you here. I am beyond excited to share my first live group series.

Each chapter of our work together is an embodied breathwork experience. You will be guided to meet yourself at a deeper level, to better understand core wounds, limiting beliefs, and to ultimately open up lines of communication with yourself, for the purpose of expansion.

In my work as a therapist, I met clients who often felt stuck by the limits of talk therapy.

Though they could intellectually understand where their issues came from, they were unable to experience resolve or release. “Now what?” they would ask me, after we had psychoanalyzed their issues to the moon in back. Indeed, now what.

As a clinician, my practice transformed when I began integrating interactive meditation and visualization into sessions, intuitively guiding my clients and creating a different kind of healing container. What I found was the places that were stuck began to open.

My hope is that these breathwork sessions can be allies for you, a source of community connection and a catalyst towards expanding in the ways that are meant for you.

    • Individuals looking to clear emotions and connect further with deep feelings.

    • Individuals seeking spiritually-oriented, secular, healing community.

    • Individuals with blockages surrounding their voice or message (all of us have a message we are meant to share!).

    • Individuals seeking to connect with their wise Self.

    • Individuals committed to sitting with their shadow.

    • Individuals developing their relationship with self-trust.

    • Individuals seeking tools to support their expansion and self-actualization in the world.

    • Meditation and breathwork is not for everyone. If you don’t enjoy breathwork or meditation, you will likely not enjoy the group as this is the basis of the program. You can read more about breathwork here.

    • There are stream-of-consciousness style free writing exercises used in the program. If you hate writing, you may not like the program.

    • Individuals seeking therapy or one-on-one support. The group is not psychotherapy, it is a breathwork and meditation focused healing group.

    • Individuals who feel disconnected or averse to spiritually-oriented healing tools.

  • Each session is between 90 minutes and 2 hours—depending on the needs of the group. We will meet bi-weekly for 6 sessions.

  • The group is priced at $150/session, and $900 in total.

  • Yes, I take a limited number of 1:1 clients every month and occasionally work with clients in an ongoing manner.
