What is somatic breathwork?
In one sentence, breathwork is a somatic tool, an active meditation and a pathway to non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Breathwork can support individuals in accessing deep levels of catharsis, moving emotions through the physical body, and opening to insights which are not available when in the thinking mind. For more information on the kind of breathwork we will be using, please click here.
FAQ
How long is the group?
The group will likely run around two hours, depending on the time folks take for sharing. Please do not schedule anything for immediately after the workshop — groups often run on their own timeline and you may wish to stay.
Where is the group held?
The group is held online, through Zoom.
Is the group therapy?
Though you may find the group healing in nature, this is a breathwork and writing group, not a psychotherapy group.

An asynchronous recording of the class will be sent for those who cannot participate at the scheduled time.
Do I need to be a writer or an experienced meditator to engage?
No, this group is beginner friendly.
Can’t wait to gather with you all!
